Our response
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material claimed to be infringing. We may also notify the person who provided the material and, in appropriate circumstances, restrict access for users who are repeat infringers.
Filing a counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
Misrepresentation
Please note that under the DMCA, any person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation that content is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, you may wish to seek legal advice before submitting a notice.
